IncaGold perustettiin alun perin nimellä IncaGold Ltd., ja myöhemmin se muutettiin IncaGold plc:ksi IncaGold GmbH:n oston jälkeen vuonna 2004.

Marraskuussa 2010 yhtiön verkkosivusto (incagoldplc.com) lopetettiin, kun verkkotunnuksen rekisteröinti vanheni.
